Hendon has now become the trendiest place in town, thanks to the opening of Pizaza on Brent Street. Walking in, you can tell that no expense was spared on the trendy decor of a modern day pizza kitchen, with the modern pizza oven in the front window with plasma screens all around. The main reason to go to Pizaza if for the pizza and shakes. They have a great variety of personalized pizzas - big enough for 2-3 people. First you choose the crust you like - thin, deep pan or stuff crust (my favourite) to go along with the type of toping. You can also choose the level of spiciness that you look - 1, 2 or 3 chilly levels. I chose the stuff crust Florentine pizza which was topped with spinach, parmesan and a fried egg. The dough was soft, the cheese filling was fantastic and all the toppings were nice and fresh. For desert they have choice of 20 or so shakes that combine various chocolate and sweet combinations. I chose and shake with vanilla ice cream and a flake chocolate bar. It was rich and creamy and hit the spot.
Pizaza is a great place to go with a bunch of friends, but bear in mind you can't be more than 4, since they are all booth tables that seat 4. Also, the prices a quite reasonable for a good meal out.
We just had the best time eating at Pizaza. The atmosphere is so trendy and cool and the pizza choices are great. We had a Pizaza Deluxe pizza with thick crust and made it really spicy - it was great! And all of those different flavours of shakes - there are so many to choose from. I think I will have to try a different one each time I go!

My husband and I visited Pizaza just before the lunchtime rush. Lucky we were, as rush it was. At one point there were 4 groups waiting for a table.
Although the sofa backs have a habit of falling off, we loved the furnishings and décor. But more than that we loved the price. The first kosher pizza place with normally priced personal pizzas, and those personal pizzas definitely enough for two people.
Our pizza arrived before our garlic bread which was a bit strange, and we were very hungry so didn't appreciate the wait, but the service was friendly despite this. Each table receives a complimentary plate of sauces including garlic sauce, pesto, and sweet chill which is a nice gimmick! We ordered the stuffed crust, which was unlike how we remember Pizza Hut in our pre-kosher days but still very good. The pizza itself was one of the better pizzas we have had. The milkshakes were amazing, and the garlic bread was the size of a pizza so we were perfectly satisfied after a nicely priced meal.
